Week 1 - Me Made May
Last week I exceeded my target of two me-made items by a lot! Which isn't really surprising since the first week is probably the easiest, when you are all filled with purpose and excitement for the idea. Hopefully next week the enthusiasm continues, and maybe I'll post something other than this on the blog, seeing as half of the items below are un-blogged about and at least one of them needs a mention! Anyways, here is the wrap-up which was all chronicled on my Instagram day by day!

Day 1 - Colette Sobretto tank with a altered skirt from Joe Fresh (already blogged about this but should include it in the round-up anyways)

Day 2 - Grainline Archer Button Up shirt in a red linen that I added fun Safari details to! You can't see the shoulder epaulets int this picture but with those, the pleated pockets and the roll up sleeve tabs it's pretty jungley.

Day 3 - Self-drafted slip dress based off of a RTW dress I recently bought. With the t-shirt underneath this made a pretty good casual Friday outfit since the weather was so nice last week. I also wore this out to dinner (without the t-shirt) for a nice date on the town with my guy.

Day 4 - Weekend wear! I made this shirt maybe 10 years ago and am pleased to say it still gets worn from time to time! I love the back but the front has a slight drafting error across the chest so my bra always shows or some major side boob. My bad!

Day 5!! - So I threw this hoodie on for a couple hours to run errands on Sunday since I made it and it's Me Made May, that is the point isn't it?! I find I don't wear this hoodie as much as other ones I have because it isn't zip-up which is my preference. But I do still love it occasionally! Blogged here!
